About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team in Mohali. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in quality assurance and a passion for automation. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products through automated testing.

What You Need for this Position:

• Proven work experience (3+ years) in quality assurance. [At least 1.5 years in Automation Testing]
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members, to understand application features and create robust, comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Design and implement load and performance tests.
• Monitor and maintain test environments and automation frameworks.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.
• Create training modules for the team to ensure consistent knowledge and skills development.
