Job Title : Senior ETL Tester (DataStage)Location : BangaloreExperience : 6 YearsJob Description : We are seeking a Senior ETL Tester with expertise in IBM DataStage to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and performance of data pipelines and ETL processes. The role involves analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting ETL workflows while working closely with data engineers and business teams. Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases, test plans, and test scripts for data integration processes.
  • Validate data transformations, data quality, and end-to-end data flows in DataStage ETL pipelines.
  • Work closely with ETL developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and SQL-based testing to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct performance testing to optimize ETL jobs and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and report data discrepancies, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Document test cases, findings, and recommendations for continuous Skills & Experience :
  • 6 years of experience in ETL testing with a strong focus on IBM DataStage.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with data quality testing, data transformation testing, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data lake and cloud-based ETL solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and troubleshooting ETL failures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
