About the Role:

As a C++ Developer at WITS Corp, you'll play a full-stack role within the industrial automation ecosystem building the robust back-end logic in C++ and collaborating on integrations across devices, communication layers, and cloud platforms. You'll work on designing, developing, and optimizing real-time control systems, enabling secure data exchange between field devices and enterprise systems.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain real-time control systems using C++.
  • Write, debug, and optimize multithreaded and high-performance code.
  • Participate in the architecture and design of complex software systems.
  • Implement and maintain communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT.
  • Work with TLS encryption, HTTPS, and certificate management for secure data communication.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, testing, and cloud teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of the system across environments.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in C++ (real-time systems)
  • Strong hands-on experience in multithreading, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience in architecture and design of large-scale software systems.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Omron FINS, Siemens S7, Emerson/Fisher ROC, ABB Totalflow (DB/DB2).
  • Exposure to .NET / C# development and cloud IoT platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of security principles across devices, connectivity, and cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite Hyderabad).
