Job Summary
The Supply pod within the PRS Central Planning & Strategy team drives forecasting, analysis, and optimization of ad supply across JioStar's Sports properties on TV and Digital. In this role, you will lead forecasting, build revenue-enabling tools, deliver tournament performance insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize monetization and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Forecasting & Planning: Lead pre-tournament forecasting for viewership, ad inventory, and ad targeting options across Digital and TV platforms, aligning projections with marketing and sales strategies.
- Revenue Enablement: Create and manage revenue-enabling data tools like the reach simulator to support sales, customisation and pricing teams to independently build effective, data-driven advertising plans that maximize revenue.
- In-Tournament Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and publish real-time performance insights on viewership and audience profiles to senior management and key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions.
- Post-Tournament Evaluation: Deliver comprehensive post-tournament analysis, including full viewership dockets and inventory actualization, to establish performance benchmarks and provide a strategic blueprint for future tournaments
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central point of contact for Analytics, Marketing, and Product teams to align on data, dashboards, and strategic narratives for GTM and client solutions.
- Business Support: Address all commercial queries related to viewership, inventory, and advertiser reach to support the Sales, Customisation, Pricing and Brand Solutions teams.
- Media Analytics & Acumen: Deep understanding of digital and television media metrics (e.g., TVR, Reach, TSV, STR) with proven experience in a media planning, audience research, or analytics role.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets and experience with analytics/visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Forecasting & Modeling: Expertise in developing and managing complex forecasting models for viewership, ad supply, and ad campaign reach with a high degree of accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Project Management: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in media analytics, forecasting, or strategic planning within broadcasting, OTT, digital media, or advertising.
