Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack AEM Engineer with extensive experience in AEM Cloud Services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions using Adobe's powerful platform, helping our clients optimize their online presence and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service, including environment setup, dispatcher configuration, and integration with Adobe I/O and third-party services.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using AEM, Java, and modern front-end frameworks. Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Build reusable AEM components, editable templates, and content fragments using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and Core Components. Ensure alignment with brand and accessibility standards.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces. Advocate for usability and accessibility best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.
• Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution presentations. Translate business needs into technical architecture and actionable development plans.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and third-party services. Integrate AEM with marketing tools, CRMs, analytics platforms, and headless CMS setups when required.
• Conduct peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and optimize performance at both front-end and back-end levels. Use tools like SonarQube, Lighthouse, and New Relic for diagnostics.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to define CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines. Support containerization and deployment strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a high-performing development culture.
• Stay updated with AEM Cloud Service enhancements, Adobe roadmap updates, and emerging web technologies. Propose improvements to development workflows and solution architecture.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, component libraries, and deployment guides. Contribute to internal wikis and playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with at least 2 years of experience on AEM as a Cloud Services.
• Strong command of Java (Core & Advanced), Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, and modern frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
• Experience with for tooling, middleware, or microservices.
• Hands-on with AEM Core Components, HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and Editable Templates.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
• Experience designing scalable AEM architectures, including multi-tenant setups, content replication strategies, and dispatcher configurations. Understanding of headless CMS patterns and hybrid delivery models.
• Proficient with Git, Bitbucket, and GitFlow workflows.
• Experience with build tools like Maven, Webpack, Gulp, and package managers like npm or Yarn.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine), UI testing tools (Selenium, Cypress), and performance monitoring tools.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AEM projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer or Architect certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor development teams.
