Role Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated Java Backend Developers to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web application development using Java technologies and frameworks, along with the ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Spring framework.
  • Implement batch job processing, JMS messaging systems, and other backend components.
  • Contribute to application development and maintenance, including business enhancements, defect fixing, and addressing technical debt.
  • Perform code refactoring and resolve security vulnerabilities in line with design principles and best practices.
  • Apply MVC architecture and design patterns to deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5– 8 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with JMS, batch processing, and multithreading.
  • Solid understanding of MVC design pattern and common software design principles.
  • Experience in application maintenance (enhancements, bug fixing, vulnerability resolution, code optimization).
  • Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
