About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Architect to anchor the architecture and design of our next-generation Analytics Platform, with a suite of AI-Apps. This is a pivotal role where you will blend your deep product architectural skills with your passion for building innovative and scalable products in data analytics/AI/ML spaces. You will coach/mentor a talented team of engineers in designing, building a Life Sciences platform that empowers our users solve key problems across the Life sciences value chain (Product Launch, Segmentation, Brand Management, Salesforce optimization, Reporting and Dashboards, etc), leveraging the power of AI Apps and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Design a modern AI-first Analytical Apps platform for the Life Sciences Industry.
• Own Platform Architecture, Design, Development Best Practices, CI/CD/DevOps, Data Engineering and ML Development & Ops (LLMs/Agents/Models).
• Coach/Engage a team of software engineers specializing in Python (Django), data engineering, and AI/ML.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to define the architecture roadmap for the Analytics Platform.
• Architect and Drive the integration of Agentic & Generative AI/ML capabilities into the Analytics Platform to enhance its functionality and provide advanced insights for adv. use cases like Launch, Field & HCP Engagement, Content Personalization, Segmentation & more
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, Agile and high-performing engineering culture. Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize and deploy AI/ML models within the platform.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support to team members.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and technical excellence within the team.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in analytics and artificial intelligence.

 Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer science or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of product architecture and solution design experience in building and scaling analytics platforms from the ground up, in a product-focused environment.
• Expert proficiency in Solution and Product Architecture – leveraging Python and big-data ecosystem for data processing, analysis, backend development (e.g., Flask/Django, Sql/NoSql, Spark, AirByte/Databricks/Snowflake,  Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, etc.) and any one of the front end technologies (Angular, React, , etc.).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelling.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS preferred, Azure, GCP).
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications and building agents using Crew.Ai and Langchang.
• Hands-on experience with popular CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Teamcity), monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and data visualization tools. Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech industry regulations and compliance requirements like HIPAA, CCPA, SOC, etc.
• Strong understanding of the life sciences and bio-pharma industry is highly desirable. Comfortable with commercial dataset: Sales data from Iqvia, Symphony, Komodo, etc., CRM data from Veeva, OCE, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Attention to details, biased for quality and client centricity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
