Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Mumbai with a focus on Communication, Navigation, and Automation systems. The Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and supporting marine electronics systems onboard vessels and offshore platforms. Daily tasks include handling field service operations, providing technical support during installations and inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role requires close interaction with clients while addressing technical challenges and maintaining equipment functionality.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Field Service operations.
  • Strong skills in Communication and client interaction to address technical needs effectively.
  • Experience in Technical Support and Maintenance & Repair of electronic navigation, communication, and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of marine electronics systems, including GMDSS, RADAR, VHF, GPS, and related equipment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in demanding marine and offshore environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications related to marine electronics systems are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a client-focused, proactive approach.
