Ltd., a reputed Super Specialty Hospital, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor / Nursing Incharge to lead and coordinate nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of nursing practices, and the ability to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
  • Assign patient care duties and ensure nursing staff have the necessary resources and support to provide safe, effective care.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve nursing staff performance through constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable nursing regulations, hospital policies, and patient care standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and review of nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
  • Address patient and family concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring resolution and appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to nursing activities and patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Nursing degree/diploma with valid registration/license to practice.
  • Proven experience in nursing supervision or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate nursing staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
