Roles & Responsibilities
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Do you consider yourself a motivated and talented M365 Systems Engineer? Do you have detailed knowledge of Microsoft's O365 platform with a focus on Microsoft Purview? If so, then you may be our next M365 Systems Engineer

Seeking a passionate expert who will work closely with cross functional teams across the organization to drive innovation, evolution and design of the Microsoft O365 environment specifically around MS Purview development. This position will have expertise in all aspects of Microsoft O365, Azure AD and compliance standards around PHI and PII data handling within MS Purview. They must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions including recommending system changes and enhancements, documenting specifications, maintaining and updating policies/standards/procedures and training users.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an SME and technical escalation resource for the Microsoft Purview.
• Design, deploy, document, manage, and support technologies including but not limited to: Microsoft Exchange Server and Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory, synchronization and federation services.
• Manage related end user capabilities and coloration systems including O365 user accounts, shared mailboxes, distribution groups and secure email gateway (SEG) solutions.
• Create and maintain automation scripts utilizing PowerShell and/or other software development languages.
• Work closely with other internal teams to build reliability, security, benefit delivery and scalability into the O365 architecture.
• Translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions.
• Ability to operate from task and project management tools such as JIRA.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend new products, technologies, roadmaps, strategies and future trends, as well as areas for process improvement.
• Assist peer technicians in troubleshooting and end-to-end root cause analysis for prompt mitigation of issue.
• Engage in on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years working and developing MS Purview.
• 5+ years working with M365 & Azure administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with service automation and collaboration services.
• Self-starter with ability to perform independently with little or no supervision.
• Strong time management skills and manages well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and assignments.
• Experience leading medium to large sized projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.
• Expert customer service skills, including the ability to listen, interpret and explain computer-related concepts in non-technical terms.
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others to calmly handle critical situations with confidence and minimal direction.
• Expert knowledge of current operating systems and software products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Cloud certifications: Azure, Office 365, Exchange Messaging, CompTIA Cloud+, etc.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting & tool making experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint Server, troubleshooting various systems and virtual hosting solutions.
• Solid networking skills.
• Demonstrated consulting, presentation, training, and project management skills.
