Position: Content Designer

Experience: 3-5 years (or as appropriate)

Responsibilities:

  • Solve sticky problems with human-centered design thinking, and communicate solutions with language and storytelling
  • Translate complicated concepts into clear in-product copy with empathy and creativity, remembering that there is rarely one "right" answer
  • Navigate ambiguity; not all projects will be clearly defined, and it will be up to you to make sense of what's unsaid
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, marketers, data science, product managers, and other stakeholders across tech and ops
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities, keeping stakeholders up-to-date
  • Create, maintain, and evolve content guidelines
  • Champion the RidenRoll brand voice and style
  • Help establish product strategy and vision

Experience:

  • 4+ years of content design-related experience and exceptional writing abilities
  • A thorough understanding of UX principles, microcopy, and content design principles
  • A systems mind that considers not just copy, but the end-to-end user experience
  • Ability to understand and discuss strategy, metrics, and results
  • Experience with design tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Knowledge of accessibility and ESL best practices
  • A collaborative, proactive, growth mindset
  • Ability to approach work with curiosity, humor, and humility
