We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President GSC Operational Efficiency and Migration Manager

Business: Intl Wealth & Premier Banking

Global Private Banking Offshoring & MigrationsCo-ordinate with onshore process owners regarding migration roadmap and implementationEnsure job postings and quality hirings, meet business requirements and HSBC standardsPost completing Location Strategy co-ordinate with the Migrations & Capacity Management Team to complete the documentation process which will include Data sharing approvals, Compliance assessments, Outsourcing assessments, Offshoring contracts, Charging methodology and arrangementKeep tab of actions and timelines to achieve the desired Go Live. Ensure timely escalation of all delays/challenges and proactively look for resolution to minimise any negative impactEnsure that stakeholder expectations are met with highest level of professionalism and value led exceptional serviceProvide Business Management support for global team & change delivery initiatives delivered in all areas of responsibility.Participate in governance meetings and escalate any issues/Challenges in a timely manner and propose solutions where required.Ensure stakeholder expectations are met with highest level of professionalism and exceptional serviceDefine and support implementation of tangible action items incl. span of control, reduction and delayering of organization, Global career banding assessments, organizational constructs, etc.

Qualifications: 

Knowledge of banking business (min. 5 years of experience with a major global bank or a top tier management consulting firm)Strong knowledge of migration and capacity management processStrong communication and networking skillsKnowledge of private banking business considered as a plusGraduate degree from a top tier university, master's degree a plusExperience in managing near- and offshoring, Migration initiativesKnowledge of organizational design principles and initiatives
