Fashion & Textile Designer
 whose artistry goes beyond form and function, someone who views fabric as a canvas of stories, textures, and legacies.

The Role

As a designer at AME, you will be a custodian of craft and an innovator of design. You will immerse yourself in textiles and fashion, curating collections that transcend trends and embody permanence. This role is for a creator who delights in heritage fabrics, revels in detail, and envisions how traditional craft can live luxuriously in the present day.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design 
    exclusive collections
     that embody AME's ethos of heritage reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
  • Collaborate with master artisans to revive and refine textile traditions, adapting them into modern, collectible design objects.
  • Explore rare fabrics, weaves, embroideries, and finishing techniques, elevating them into bespoke luxury expressions.
  • Develop mood boards, sketches, and narratives that tell a story beyond the product.
  • Work hand-in-hand with production to ensure the purity of detail and the perfection of finish.
  • Engage with global design and cultural trends, integrating them into AME's world while maintaining our timeless essence.

What We Seek

  • A designer with 
    formal training in Fashion or Textile Design
    , and 2–5 years of experience in luxury, couture, or artisanal spaces.
  • A connoisseur of textiles, someone who treats fabric not just as material, but as memory and meaning.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with an ability to weave concept into craft.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, CAD, etc.), with hand sketching ability being a plus.
  • A sensibility that balances
    poetry with precision, visionary yet detail-obsessed.
