Apeejay Stya University, located at Sohna Palwal Road, Gurugram, requires a Junior Admin Officer / Admin Officer to take care of the Administrative responsibilities of the University campus.
Summary of Job : The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all support functions like Housekeeping, Security, Transport, Repair& Maintenance, canteen, Fire, Safety measures. To ensure deadlines and the safety of the University Campus at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the University.
- To ensure all AMC's are renewed timely.
- Escalation for upgradation /renewals as required in conjunction with HO
- Responsible for overseeing transport management wrt (i) All compliances are being followed. (ii) Documentation (iii) Changes/ Improvisation required if any.
- Responsible for cost-effective solutions without compromising quality at all times. (Coordination for printing of flex/hoardings at the Campus in concern with HO) .
Housekeeping:
1) Vendor Management to ensure the required no. of personnel are present as per the agreed format.
2) To ensure that Housekeeping staff carry out their outlined work along with the HK Supervisor.
3) To escalate timely in case of emergency.
4) Periodic/ Regular review and feedback to the vendor.
- To ensure the mess/canteen is running with proper hygiene.
- Taking care of horticulture.
Security:
- To manage and direct the overall safety and security operations of the Campus.
- To coordinate all safety and security planning pertaining to the personal safety of the students, staff and the public. To develop, design, and oversee the University's implementation of facilities safety and security devices, patrols and alarms.
Liasoning:
- Build and manage relations with all concerned regulatory authorities like Water Authority, Police Department, Electricity Department, BSNL, Banks, etc.
- Ensure compliance for all the above at all times, Timely escalation in case of any misuses/ delays/lapses.
Repair & Maintenance:
- Ensure timely service and maintenance of all vehicles in conjunction with the HO
- Service bills to be timely put for processing.
- Ensure DG sets are working properly
Job Knowledge (Prerequisite)
- Should have experience in handling administrative tasks in a University / Institute.
- Proven ability to handle/deal with housekeeping staff
- knowledge of estate repair & maintenance
- Should be able to able to manage the security of the Campus effectively
- Should be able to manage transportation.
