QA Engineer – US Healthcare Payment Posting

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our healthcare payment posting and EDI transaction processing product. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in US healthcare workflows, especially in validating EDI (837/835 files) processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans for payment posting workflows within our healthcare product.
  • Validate EDI 837 (claims submission) and EDI 835 (payment posting) file processing.
  • Ensure accuracy in payment reconciliation, adjustments, and denial handling.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution (JIRA or similar tools).
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to refine features and resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of QA/testing experience, with at least 2+ years in US healthcare/medical billing projects.
  • Strong expertise in payment posting workflows.
  • Hands-on experience testing EDI 837/835 files.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security.
  • Experience testing other healthcare EDI files.
