
Area Sales Manager(Rice Division)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager with proven expertise in the rice industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing distribution channels, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets for the rice product portfolio.
- Manage and expand dealer, distributor, and retailer networks within the assigned area.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to stay competitive.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit control for distributors/clients.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
- Conduct promotional activities, product demonstrations, and participation in trade events.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team to deliver business objectives.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–7 years of sales experience in the rice industry (Basmati/Non-Basmati/Export sales background will be an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of rice markets, distribution channels, and key buyers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
