Manager IT

The Manager of IT is responsible for one or more of the following: application support, platform testing, problem / incident management, capacity management, change management, middle ware & database support, platform engineering, platform monitoring, platform tools and efficient engagement / integration with enterprise & wholesale engineering and support teams. This role is primarily focused on the day-to-day operational execution (100% Transactional).
Responsibilities
Application support for internally developed and vendor applications. 25%

Conduct platform testing support including test environment management. 25%

Management of direct reports. 10%

Manage platform problem, incident, capacity and change in partnership with the associated enterprise and wholesale teams. 30%

Other IT management projects as assigned. 10%
Education

Required: Bachelor's; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering OR Math, Finance, Other

Preferred: Master's/Advanced; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering

Language

Required: Fluent in English

Experience

Required: Typically 7 years buisiness experience. Individual is expected to be subject area expert in one (or more) specific skill sets, business areas or products.. Relevant programming languages (Java). Ability to complete day-to-day activities independently. Interpersonal skills necessary to oversee a small team of junior staff..

Preferred: Experience working for a publicly traded company in a similar role. Mastery of relevant programming languages (Java).
