Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and day-to-day bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team in various operational and statutory tasks.
- Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Record and maintain journal entries, ledgers, and financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including returns filing and documentation.
- Support in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Manage petty cash, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Assist in budget preparation, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance in CA firm
- Solid knowledge of Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books / SAP or similar accounting software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and other MS Office tools.
- Familiar with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Preferred Attributes:Experience in handling corporate or LLP accounts.
- Exposure to financial audits and compliance.
- Ability to work independently
