Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Procurement based in Mumbai. The Head of Procurement will oversee the procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-efficient and high-quality procurement processes. Responsibilities include identifying sourcing opportunities, evaluating suppliers, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The role requires collaboration across departments and stakeholders to streamline operations and contribute to organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Procurement Strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, and Contract Negotiation
  • Strong skills in Budget Management, Cost Analysis, and Financial Planning
  • Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, and Market Research
  • Experience in Compliance Management and Risk Assessment within procurement functions
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to implement innovative procurement practices and promote operational efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably within a multinational organization or across diverse sectors
