The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Accounting Manager
to lead our finance department in Hosur. The ideal candidate will be a master of Indian accounting practices within a private limited manufacturing setup. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who is not only an expert in
GST compliance
but also a technical wizard with
SAP Business One
and
SQL
. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency and insightful reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight:
  Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
• GST Expertise:
  Serve as the company's subject matter expert on all GST-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.
• SAP Business One & SQL:
  Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1. Utilize
  advanced SQL skills
  to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
• Closing & Reporting:
  Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Statutory Compliance:
  Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
• Audits & Controls:
  Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Team Leadership:
  Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:
  A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a
  private limited manufacturing company
  in India.
• Education:
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable):
• Expert-level, hands-on proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1)
  . You must know the system inside and out.
• Strong proficiency in SQL
  is mandatory for developing reports and working on the SAP backend.
• Functional Skills (Non-Negotiable):
• Deep, practical expertise in Indian GST laws
  , including all aspects of filings, compliance, and reconciliations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
