As part of GST (Global Telco Services), CDS Cloud Infrastructure unit has an opportunity for an experienced Solution Engineer.

You shall be engaged in Cloud Platform delivery projects.
As an expert Solution Engineer, you will participate in customer delivery projects, with focus on CloudBand Infrastructure Software (CBIS), Nokia Container Services (NCS) and Nokia Cloud Platform (NCP) products of CloudBand portfolio. The work would involve building high-and low-level design, installation & commissioning, testing, integration & validation, and customer acceptance.
You shall perform solution-based install, configuration, and acceptance of pre-architected solutions, either remote or on-site – to that end, some travel to customer sites may be required.
You shall also provide remote or on-site expert support for on-site solution engineers during installation, acceptance and diagnosis activities and take care of integration issue during deployment, validation, and acceptance.
This role may encounter confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
What Will You Do
- Participation in customer's projects activities related to Cloud Infrastructure projects
- Understand Customer and Product functional and technical requirements
- Understand how Cloud Products integrate into our customer's environment
- Understand customization requirements that the customer might need.
- Assistance as consultant in customer's presentations, documentation, and workshops
- Participation in Deployment Industrialization process to shorter lead time and reduce deployment efforts
- Product and application integration
- Handling integration issues during deployment
- Develop enough knowledge on our customer's environment to participate in customer discussion and facilitate integration recommendation
- Manage customer technical requests and regularly update customer and project stakeholders on progress
What Will You Bring
- Technical and hands-on practical knowledge on OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift and RHEL is key
- Strong fundamental concepts and experience on Containers, Kubernetes and Microservices
- Knowledge and experience on CBIS, NCS and NCP products is a plus
- Expertise in Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) and concepts linked with virtualization experience is a must.
- Expertise in Cloud Management Systems, Virtual Infrastructure Management systems and Cloud Infrastructure Management Systems is required.
- You are personally committed to quality and love working in a customer facing environment.
- You operate autonomously and possess result driven attitude
- Being a quick learner, you are flexible in taking up different roles and tackling different technologies
- You show technical and organizational leadership and possess strong negotiation and communication skills and enjoy taking ownership and accountability.
