Core responsibilities
- Inventory and stock management:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing stock, including receiving materials and issuing them to production or customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual systems or ERP software.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum and maximum levels are maintained to avoid shortages or excess.
- Conduct regular stock counts and prepare reconciliation statements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all goods, including quality checks and identifying non-moving or expired items.
- Staff management and supervision:
- Oversee and supervise store staff, which may include scheduling and performance reviews.
- Train new and existing staff on products, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Daily operations:
- Ensure the store is properly set up and presented for opening each day.
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Handle customer service issues, complaints, and inquiries.
- Reporting and administration:
- Prepare and maintain various store reports, such as monthly statements, daily activity logs, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with other departments or external vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolves issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Inventory Management
- Proven track record of achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strong Customer Relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience in the inventory management job profiles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
