Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cinematographer & Video Editor to film, edit, and produce high-quality wedding films. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, expertise in camera operation, and proficiency in post-production editing. You will be responsible for capturing stunning visuals, enhancing footage through professional editing, and delivering final wedding films that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Cinematography:

  • Capture high-quality video footage of weddings and related events.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to plan shot lists, storyboards, and filming strategies.
  • Operate professional cameras, drones, gimbals, and other video equipment.
  • Ensure proper lighting, composition, and framing for cinematic storytelling.
  • Record high-quality audio using external microphones and sound equipment.
  • Manage and maintain video gear, ensuring everything is in optimal condition.

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit raw footage into cinematic wedding films using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Enhance visuals with color grading, transitions, and special effects.
  • Sync audio, add background music, and mix sound to create immersive experiences.
  • Work with clients for revisions and final approvals, ensuring satisfaction with the final product.
  • Organize and archive footage systematically for easy access.
  • Stay updated on the latest editing techniques and wedding film trends.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cinematographer & video editor in the wedding industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both videography and editing skills.
  • Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Expertise in handling professional camera systems (Sony, Canon,etc.).
  • Understanding of color grading, sound design, and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines.
