Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Assistant located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring that products meet established standards. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, analysing quality data, maintaining quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The assistant will also communicate findings and suggest improvements to the production team.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Maintain document control re/Blaine's SOPs
  • Assure new employee needs (including temps) are addressed
  • Filing and organization of various Quality Assurance areas including the archive storage area and Quality Assurance production areas
  • Coordinate projects and meetings for Quality Assurance and department managers.
  • Complete inventory listing of Quality Assurance files at off-site storage areas
  • Maintain filing and records management systems and other office flow procedures
  • Written correspondence/communication responsibilities
  • Coordinate support for Production/QA process quality improvement initiative
  • Manages Quality Assurance inspection plans, and records and provides support to the Quality team
  • Perform In-Process checks and Line Clearances of the manufacturing operations
  • Performs AQL sampling of incoming components
  • Performs testing of incoming goods per the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitors routine line clearance activities
  • Continuous monitoring of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

  • Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
  • Analytical and Quality Management skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in the textile or garment manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field preferred

- 15k to 80k CTC

Experiences Required
- Fresher up to 30 years of experiences in garment manufacturing industries.
