Position Overview

We're seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join our growing team at SG Gurukul. This role involves leading a team of sales professionals, managing both in-office and field sales efforts, and building strong client relationships. Candidates with a background in digital marketing or SaaS sales and strong leadership qualities are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee a blend of field visits, client meetings, in-office calls, and product demos.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with overall business goals.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and objection handling.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Identify new business opportunities across local and regional markets.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with both new prospects and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, operations, tech) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track sales performance, maintain detailed records, and report key metrics to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience; digital marketing or SaaS industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive and organized approach.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel locally for field sales and client meetings.
