Summary:
The Manager Training role plays a critical part in advancing the organization's talent development strategy by designing and delivering high-impact training programs that directly support strategic business goals. This position leads the Learning & Development (L&D) function, driving the identification of skill gaps through rigorous training needs assessments and developing tailored learning solutions that enhance employee performance and organizational capability. The Manager Training oversees the L&D team, fosters strategic partnerships with Department Heads (HODs), and champions a culture of continuous learning across all levels. By ensuring alignment between learning initiatives and operational objectives, this role strengthens workforce readiness, supports operational excellence, and fuels sustainable growth within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align learning strategies with business priorities.
- Plan, design, and implement end-to-end training and development programs across departments and functions.
- Create and curate engaging, role-specific learning content that accommodates diverse learning styles and job requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the L&D team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of training initiatives.
- Partner with HODs and business leaders to gather insights, define training requirements, and ensure program relevance.
- Measure and evaluate training effectiveness using established frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) and feedback systems.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning through innovative approaches, digital learning tools, and engagement campaigns.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging L&D methodologies, and best practices to maintain program relevance and impact.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 7 8 years of progressive experience in training, learning & development, or talent management.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering impactful training programs within a corporate or engineering environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing a training or L&D team with a focus on performance and delivery.
- Proficiency in training evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in conducting training needs analyses and developing competency frameworks.
- Background in any manufacturing industry; preference for candidates without BFSI experience.
