We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Tools Administrator / JIRA Specialist to design, implement, and manage customized workflows, automation, and integrations within the Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in JIRA Administration, Confluence management, and the ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to streamline development, deployment, and CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement custom JIRA workflows for different issue types to support automation of build, deploy, and application provisioning workflows.
  • Develop and maintain JIRA templates, complex workflows, and associated schemes (screen, permission, and notification schemes).
  • Manage day-to-day administration, upgrades, and enhancements of JIRA and Confluence systems.
  • Integrate Atlassian tools with other DevOps, CI/CD, and collaboration tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan solutions, and deliver automation workflows using Atlassian products (JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, etc.).
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and optimal configuration of Atlassian tools.
  • Support and maintain user access, roles, permissions, and troubleshoot workflow or plugin issues.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with JIRA Administration, Confluence Administration, and Atlassian Marketplace plugins.
  • Knowledge of JIRA automation, scripting, and API integrations.
  • Experience designing and implementing project workflows and templates aligned with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving, documentation, and analytical thinking skills.
