Job Description Equity Research Analyst (ASX Markets)

Position: Equity Research Analyst

Location: Noida, India

Shift Timings: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (IST)

Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday – Friday)

Work Mode: Office-based with Work From Home available on Manager's approval

Salary: Up to INR 6,00,000 per annum + Bonus & Incentives up to INR 1,00,000

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a similar role

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Equity Research Analyst with expertise in the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). The role involves conducting fundamental and technical analysis, preparing professional equity research reports, and giving actionable investment recommendations (Buy, Sell, Hold) with target prices and support/resistance levels. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, open to flexible working arrangements, and capable of thriving in a dynamic global market environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive fundamental and technical research on ASX-listed companies.

  • Prepare detailed equity research reports, including:

  • Target Price estimations

  • Support & Resistance levels

  • Buy / Sell / Hold recommendations

  • Build and maintain valuation models (DCF, comparables, multiples).

  • Monitor company performance, sectoral updates, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Track technical indicators, price patterns, and trading volumes for market insights.
  • Provide high-quality research insights to support portfolio and trading strategies.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Mandatory: SEBI or NISM Certifications in Research/Investment Advisory.
  • Preferred: RG146 certification (Australian financial markets compliance).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (CFA/MBA is a plus).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Equity Research Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental valuation, financial statement analysis, and technical analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills with the ability to simplify complex insights.
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and open to changes in work timings and days as per business requirements.
