Travel Agent – Day Shift (Ticketing – Amadu's)

Location: K&B Tower Mohali

Shift: Day Shift

Experience: Minimum 2 Years (Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Agent to join our team at Amadu's, specializing in international and domestic ticketing between India and Canada. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in travel and ticketing, with strong communication skills in Punjabi and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day ticketing operations using GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
  • Book and modify flights for domestic and international travel (primarily India-Canada routes).
  • Provide excellent customer service through phone, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Advise clients on travel options, regulations, and visa-related matters.
  • Coordinate with airlines for fare quotes, rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Canada-based team to manage cross-border bookings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a travel agency or ticketing environment.
  • Proficiency in Punjabi and English (verbal & written).
  • Strong knowledge of airline reservation systems (GDS).
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Canada-India travel routes and customer expectations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
