Job Summary
An IT recruiter's job is to source, screen, and place candidates in IT roles — from software developers and cloud engineers to project managers and cybersecurity experts. They act as a bridge between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring the right skill match and cultural fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding Requirements
- Meet with hiring managers or clients to understand job descriptions, skill sets, and timelines.
- Translate technical requirements into clear recruiting strategies.
- Sourcing Candidates
- Use platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.
- Run Boolean searches and leverage ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
- Screening & Shortlisting
- Evaluate resumes for technical skills and relevant experience.
- Conduct phone or video interviews to assess technical and communication abilities.
- Interview Coordination
- Schedule technical and HR interviews.
- Ensure feedback loop between candidate and hiring team.
- Offer Management
- Negotiate salary packages.
- Manage candidate expectations and ensure smooth onboarding.
Required Skills
- Technical Understanding
Basic knowledge of programming languages, cloud platforms, databases, etc., to screen candidates effectively.
- Recruitment Tools
ATS platforms (e.g., Humanbit, Taleo, Workday), sourcing tools, and Excel.
- Communication Skills
Clear and persuasive communication with both candidates and stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills
Balancing candidate expectations and company budget.
- Time Management
Managing multiple open positions with tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8, ₹25,000.00 per month
