We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager for our testing laboratory located in Barbil, Odisha. The candidate must have strong technical expertise and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.
  • Prepare and manage all ISO 17025 documentation, SOPs, and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate internal audits and support the team in preparation for NABL assessment.
  • Handle Non-Conformity (NC) compliance, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Oversee daily testing activities related to Coal, Coke, Iron Ore, Limestone, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and validity of test results.
  • Provide technical support and guide laboratory staff; demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
  • Monitor calibration, equipment maintenance, and method validation.
  • Review and approve test reports and technical documents.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
  • Experience in testing and analysis of Coal, Coke, Iron Ore, Limestone, etc.
  • Good communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage documentation, audits, and QMS independently.
  • Proficiency in handling NC closure, quality records, and continual improvement.

Qualification

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry (mandatory)

Experience

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in laboratory quality management (preferred).
