
Front Office Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:
- Reception & Patient Handling
- Greet patients, visitors, and guests politely and professionally.
- Assist with patient registration, admission, and discharge process.
- Guide patients to the concerned departments/doctors.
- Telephone & Communication
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
- Maintain accurate communication between patients, doctors, and departments.
- Handle appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling.
- Front Office Operations
- Maintain patient records and update hospital management system (HMS).
- Collect and verify patient details, ID proof, and documents.
- Handle inquiries regarding hospital services, visiting hours, and billing.
- Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for patient needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front office area.
- Manage courier, incoming/outgoing mails, and visitor registers.
- Cash & Billing (if applicable)
- Collect consultation fees, issue receipts, and maintain cash records.
- Support billing team for basic patient billing queries.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Customer service orientation with a pleasant personality.
