MenuWise is a 20-year-old foodservice SaaS platform now being rebuilt from the ground up. Chefs, caterers, and food businesses across Australia and New Zealand rely on MenuWise for recipe management, costing, nutrition, and supplier insights.

Who Were Looking For

A confident senior backend engineer who can take ownership of backend architecture, guide engineering quality, and lead the development of a modern, fast, and secure NestJS backend. You enjoy solving deep technical problems and can think ahead, not just code features.

What Youll Do

  • Lead backend development using NestJS + TypeScript
  • Architect, design, and optimise the PostgreSQL database layer
  • Build and maintain REST APIs used by web, mobile, and integrations
  • Drive system design, code quality, and backend best practices
  • Integrate third-party services (payments, analytics, support tools)
  • Ensure strong reliability, security, and performance
  • Write unit tests and help maintain stable deployments
  • Mentor team members and contribute to growing our India engineering hub

Required Skills

Experience
