Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) is an industry-led, non-profit organisation committed to developing a skilled workforce for the telecom sector. We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to create standards, assessments, and capacity-building initiatives aligned with emerging technologies.

Role Overview

The IT Intern will support TSSC's IT operations, hardware maintenance, and networking activities. The role involves hands-on exposure to troubleshooting, system support, documentation, and working with new and emerging telecom technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and networking equipment.
  • Provide first-level technical support to internal teams (systems, network issues, etc.).
  • Support IT infrastructure monitoring and documentation.
  • Help manage user accounts, system access, and data backup processes.
  • Assist in evaluation and testing of new technologies relevant to TSSC's operations.
  • Support telecom technology-related initiatives and internal IT projects.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations using MS Office tools.

Skills Required

  • Strong interest
    in IT hardware and networking.
  • Enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies.
  • Interest in telecom technologies and systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Who Can Apply

  • Graduate in B.Tech/B.E. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related specialization with a focus on networking and hardware.
