This role is responsible for consumer focused testing a range of digital products across web and and certifying mobile applications. Work involves validating functionality, user experience, accessibility, and content across diverse business units and product types.

The QA Engineer operates within a specialized cross-functional team, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires balancing competing priorities, executing both manual and automated tests, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and helping drive quality outcomes across critical healthcare digital platforms within release timelines.

Essential Responsibilities

Testing Execution & Strategy

• Conduct various types of testing including Functional UAT, UI/UX testing, ADA accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 AA), regression, content validation, and A/B/multivariate testing across web and physical mobile platforms (iOS, iPadOS & Android).

• Determine testing scope and approach; collaborate with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review and approve test strategies.

• Prepare and maintain reusable, modular test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for both manual and automated execution.

• Review user stories, participate in demos, and apply analytical skills to determine appropriate test coverage and scope.

• Prepare relevant test data prior to execution.

• Validate content against source of truth and authored content systems (e.g., AEM).

• Execute test cases on real Android and Apple Devices to ensure mobile testing aligns with platform-specific behavior standards for iOS and Android.

• Define and ensure adherence to entry and exit criteria based on QA standards.

Automation & Tools

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for UI, functional, and end-to-end testing.

• Own and support QA deployment tools including Jenkins and Selenium Grid.

• Utilize tools such as QTest/QC, Jira, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Figma, MongoDB, Crashlytics, and Applitools to execute and track testing.

Defect Management & Quality Reporting

• Track, document, and communicate defects using Jira or equivalent systems.

• Maintain up-to-date Jira tickets and dashboards daily, ensuring test progress and blockers are clearly reflected.

• Evaluate test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

• Monitor defect resolution and report QA status, risks, and go-live readiness to stakeholders.

• Generate scheduled and ad hoc QA reports, including defect summaries and test execution metrics.

• Track and analyze quality metrics across test phases to inform release readiness and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure complete and effective QA coverage.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Provide test plan sign-off and QA validation support during production releases, including smoke testing and exploratory testing.

Project & Process Leadership

• Lead or assist in developing QA strategies, methodologies, and standardized processes for complex projects.

• Contribute to QA project plans including scope, milestones, schedules, and resource planning.

• Ensure QA activities align with broader project/program milestones.

• Identify, define, and mitigate testing-related risks, dependencies, and blockers.

• Support improvements to QA processes, standards, and cross-team consistency.

Experience working with AEM Content (preferred) or other content plaforms

Three (3) years experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Experience in Qtest/Quality Center ALM Test Strategy, Test case Creation, JIRA

Maintaining Selenium, Java, Eclipse IDE, Applitools Eyes and Applitools automation framework- preferred

Experience with AI prompt engineering and tuning- trainable- AI Testing preferred

Familiarity with iOS, Android standards- any IOS testing preffered
