
Sr. Mechanic

Responsibilities include performing inspections, executing complex mechanical and electrical repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, managing parts inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and leadership skills, along with expertise in various fuel systems, engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on vehicles and equipment using diagnostic tools and analyzers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks, service, and inspections to ensure the longevity and optimal functionality of equipment and vehicles.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues with a hands-on approach.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and guide junior mechanics, providing on-the-job training and support to foster their skills and productivity.
- Maintenance & Documentation: Maintain accurate work logs, maintenance records, and documentation of repairs, and manage parts inventory.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and maintain the quality of all maintenance and refurbishment work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of various engines (gasoline, diesel, CNG), transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze malfunctions, determine causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership & Communication: Capable of leading a team, communicating technical information clearly, and coordinating with other departments.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing tasks, scheduling, and maintaining work areas and parts inventory.
- Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic, with a strong preference for senior-level experience.
