What You'll Do

• Develop strategies for data ingestion (from multiple sources) into Snowflake using FiveTran, Python, AWS glue, Snowpipes etc.
• Conduct spikes to validate source system APIs and documentation using Postman, Swagger etc
• Design and implement data pipelines to feed data models for subsequent consumption.
• Actively monitor and resolve user support issues, working closely with your functional squad and other squads as part of the chapter.
• Proactively identify and independently solve non-routine problems by applying expertise.
• Perform research of viable technical and/or non-technical solutions

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering or a similar field
• 5+ years of Ingestion, Integration and ETL relevant experience.
• Essential: Experience in loading data into warehouse/ ODS environment from diverse sources and formats
• Essential: Experience in Fivetran, DBT, AWS Glue and Python
• Essential: Experience in data platforms: Snowflake
• Essential: Design strategies for new data ingestion requests, including logical and physical data modelling
• Preferred: Experience in AWS data platforms and integration platforms: Mulesoft etc.

• Well versed in data ingestion methods, such as extract and load techniques through scripting and/or tooling, streaming, API consumption and replication

• Understanding of IT-Service management and technical continuous improvement

• Ability to provide thorough technical and architecture documentation
• Ability to influence and assist in business requirements gathering to translate into technical work items
