Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Admissions Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience while contributing to the schools admissions goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective MBA students.
  • Build relationships with potential applicants to encourage them to apply for the MBA program.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to attract qualified candidates through various channels, such as college fairs, information sessions, and online platforms.
  • Provide detailed information about the MBA program, including curriculum, faculty, career opportunities, and admission requirements.
  • Assist prospective students in understanding the application process, including deadlines, required documents, and any additional requirements.
  • Offer guidance and support to applicants throughout the entire admissions journey, from initial inquiry to acceptance.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both applicants and interviewers.
  • Contribute ideas to improve recruitment strategies and student engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and conversions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate degree
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or a customer-facing role (experience in higher education preferred)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet targets
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with CRM systems, social media, and MS Office tools
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and student-focused attitude
