*Rolesand Responsibilities:*

• Responsiblefor Safe & Timely execution of Site construction activities withexceptional quality management.
• Ensureall safety pre-cautions, norms and compliance are followed during the entireduration of construction.
• Overallresponsibility of site activities with regards to quality procedure, qualitysystems and schedule.
• Toliaise with customer, consultant, contractors and statutory bodies on differentaspects of job execution.
• Co-ordinatewith head office.
• Tomaintain records and documents properly as per requirement of quality system.
• Tosupervise the execution of jobs at site as per planned schedule, companyquality procedures and quality system.
• Toperform the inspection on the job carried out by construction vendor at site.
• Tocheck & verify the skill of labour being engaged on job by constructionvendor.
• Administrative& schedule control.
• Joballocation to site engineers.
• Followup with contractor for mobilization of resources as per site requirement.
• Toensure smooth and timely execution as per L2 Schedule.
• Ensureall the statutory requirements of local government, central government &customer are followed without any deviation.
• Expediteprogress of work at site to ensure timely and sequential delivery as perproject schedule. Ensure handing over of the site work completion protocol /documents to Construction Manager.
• Trackingmaterial supply with respect to the schedule and escalating delays throughConstruction Manager.
• Followup for Drawing & documents required at site.
• Highlightthe deviation with respect to drawing through SAR.
• Reportprogress of site to head office. (DPR, WPR & MPR).
• Reportmaterial receipt / damage /lost to head office.
• Ensurethe heavy lifts are planned properly in a safe manner. Ensure crane is deployedfor the shortest possible period.
• Commerciallymonitor the opportunity for extra claims in the event of site delays with theagency responsible for delay including contractors.
• ObtainWCC from customer. Follow up for payment from customer.
• Certificationof contractor's WCC. Certification ofextra work with contractor.

*CriticalCompetencies:*

• Experiencein executing construction projects, understanding of site activities, sequence,interlinks, constraints etc.
• Preferablyworked in construction activities of Thermal Power Plants / Petrochemicalcomplex.
• Knowledgeof Safe working Practices at Construction sites.
• Knowledgeof Quality requirements of Site construction.
• Knowledgeof Statutory & basic Commercial aspects of Construction.
• ExcellentCommunication skills & team management qualities.
• Computerliteracy, report generation & presentation skills.
• Customer& Contractor handling capabilities.
