Role: Software Engineer Senior / Technical Consultant

Position Description:

We are seeking Full-Stack Software Engineers who are deeply passionate about software and cloud engineering to help build next-generation data services using advanced big data and scalable cloud technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, product managers, and feature teams to deliver core platform components that enable secure, high-performance, and reliable web services. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying services that interact with large-scale data systems, while also managing production processes such as deployment and health monitoring. The ideal candidate will write clean, reusable code to develop dynamic user interfaces across platforms, optimize front-end performance for various devices and browsers, and contribute to architectural compliance and functional accuracy. You will also play a key role in implementing new features and enhancements that meet real-time performance requirements, delivering scalable and elegant software solutions.

Skillset Required:

• Experience: Over 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a minimum of 7 years in full-stack development encompassing both front-end and back-end technologies.
  
  Technical Expertise:
• Back-End: Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and relational databases including SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Front-End: Mandatory experience in developing user interfaces using React or Angular frameworks.
• Cloud Platforms: Practical exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• DevOps Tools: Skilled in source code management using Git, and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, Gradle, and Tekton.
• Testing Methodologies: Familiar with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.

1. Full-Stack Development: Design and implement end-to-end software components, including the user interface, business logic, data layer, and integration layer. Ensure thorough testing and ongoing maintenance of all components.
2. Product Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers to understand product functionalities and use cases. Develop prototypes to validate concepts and gather feedback.
3. Agile Teamwork: Collaborate actively with Agile teams, Product Owners, and Product Managers to drive product success through continuous improvement and alignment.
4. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in API development and integration, front-end technologies such as Angular, and back-end frameworks like Spring Boot.
5. Database Management: Work effectively with system infrastructure, including creating, querying, and manipulating databases to support application functionality.
6. Agile Ceremonies Participation: Engage in all Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to team alignment and delivery.
7. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure high-quality software development aligned with IT security standards and compliance policies.
8. Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated unit and functional tests to validate user stories and proactively identify defects.
9. Production Support: Provide operational support for deployed products, ensuring critical success factors (CSFs) are consistently met.
