About the Role
We are seeking a data leader to drive infrastructure, architecture, governance, and delivery excellence, enabling insights-driven decisions across business clusters and corporate functions. You will head a team of data engineers, partnering with data scientists and BI developers to deliver scalable, reusable solutions. The role demands expertise in data architecture, governance, and asset creation, with the ability to think strategically, execute incrementally, and deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- SQL database design, data architecture, ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Big Data, Cloud (AWS) & Data Governance
- Designing and implementing data pipelines & migration strategies
- Building automated, end-to-end data engineering solutions
- Driving process improvements: automation, scalability, and data quality
- Implementing best practices in data governance and pipeline operations
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Migrating existing data applications & pipelines to AWS (PaaS)
