Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed research and due diligence on investment opportunities including AIFs, unlisted shares, startups, and debt proposals.
- Perform financial analysis, review credit ratings, balance sheets, cash flows, and overall financial health of companies seeking funding/loans.
- Prepare investment proposals and MIS reports for submission to the Investment Committee.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and coordinating investment agreements, term sheets, and related legal documentation with internal/external stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates on investment returns, compliance, and risks.
- Support short-term and long-term loan disbursement activities including KYC, documentation, and compliance checks.
- Track industry trends, capital markets, and regulatory changes relevant to corporate investments.
- Maintain and update records of all investment transactions, agreements, and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external agencies, rating agencies, consultants, and legal advisors as required.
Desired Candidate :
- Graduate in Commerce / Finance, MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CS Inter preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in investment research, corporate finance, back office, or treasury in a large corporate or financial services firm.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and investment appraisal.
- Exposure to AIFs, private equity, venture funding, or debt structuring will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks around corporate investments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling, and MIS reporting.
