Established in 2020, MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG's global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Job Profile:

As part of the Project Management Office, a person will be responsible for building the PMO structure, governance, and workflow at MGS Ops. Role will involve leading the execution of the company's strategy by supporting the implementation of strategic projects across MGS Ops. This includes ensuring projects are completed according to specifications, within the established time frame and budget. Person who will be selected for this role will interact with clients, vendors, in-house staff, and key team members dedicated to shared service work. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of strategic projects and act as a role model, providing project management support to other team members as needed.
  • Ensure all strategy-related projects are executed on time and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Develop key bank-wide initiatives, such as annual planning and performance management (KPI) exercises.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to business units in implementing operational plans and roadmaps.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in operating units to ensure alignment with expectations.
  • Perform additional duties consistent with the role as assigned by the Department Head.
  • Manage expenses and provide budget forecasts with regular reports to senior management.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders in planning and executing programs.
  • Oversee the entire program, including resourcing, sequencing, and scheduling activities.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Publish MIS on transaction status to senior management.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal processes, local regulations, and guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in migration within banking and financial organizations.
  • Desirable experience in captive transition management and client engagement in a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
  • Expertise in trade finance, cash management, or treasury operations is required.
  • 12-15 years of experience in MNC banks or reputable banks.
  • Hands-on experience in stakeholder management, governance, and managing toll gates.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Willingness to relocate to Bangalore.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven experience in captive environments is an advantage.
  • Education & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; PMP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in trade finance, general banking, and treasury, with a proven track record.
