**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Enterprise Risk plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the enterprise risk function within BNY. The role requires a deep understanding of risk management processes and the ability to influence and implement risk strategies across various business units. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the development and execution of risk management strategies by leveraging expertise in risk assessment and mitigation techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive risk identification and management, aligning with BNY's strategic objectives. - Oversee the implementation of enterprise risk policies and practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Provide risk insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and strategic planning. - Monitor and report on risk exposure levels, utilizing advanced analytical tools and methodologies. - Promote a culture of risk awareness across the organization, facilitating training and communication initiatives. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** Typically 5-10 years of experience in enterprise risk management or a related field, with a proven track record of strategic risk oversight and leadership. **SKILLS:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. - Proficiency in risk management software and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
