Role

As the Sub - Section Head you will be part of the Procurement and will report to the SH- Sourcing & Development The purpose of your role will be to inspire team, collaborate with stakeholders and creatively deliver the following:

1. New product development: Adherence to 4M, timely development with inbuilt quality and ECN implementation.

2. Supplier relationship management

3. Define sourcing strategy basis supplier capability, financials and growth prospects.

4. VA initiatives, Pricing decision & Negotiation

5. Multisourcing (Product & location wise) and Derisking.

6. Ensure timely settlement of price changes

7. Supplier technology upgradation & new supplier enrolment.

8. Proactively financial health check-up of SCPs and risk mitigation.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. New Product Development

2. Inflation Management: Cost Management, Cost reduction/improvement

3.Periodic cost norm review and rationalization (Addressing to SCP concern)

4. Supplier commercial resolution backed up with detail analysis and due approval

5. Supplier technology upgradation & new supplier enrolment

6. PCR automation / PIR

7. Team Development

A Day in the life

1.Costing norms – SCPs Input cost estimation (Manpower/ consumables etc.)

2.SCPs acceptance for low volume parts – Upfront FTG cost, manpower / process cost actualization etc.

3.Fulfilment of obsolete model parts in SPD
