Your Team
You'll be part of the
PTC Flow team
, a key group within our R&D organization. This team is composed of talented professionals with deep expertise in Web and Cloud technologies. Together, we tackle complex software architecture challenges to make PTC's Flow product more efficient, sustainable, and impactful—especially in areas like cross-product
Digital Product Thread (DPT)
.

The team leads innovation across deployment, runtime, functionality, collaboration, and integration aspects of our products. We take pride in driving forward-thinking solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Apply creative problem-solving approaches to complex technical challenges.
  • Define, prototype, analyze, and architect solutions for PTC Flow and cross-product Digital Thread initiatives.
  • Contribute to innovation projects and architecture review processes.
  • Focus on performance, scalability, DevOps, software reliability engineering, and integrations while shaping architectural decisions.
  • Write high-quality code and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Develop automation solutions for new architectural processes.
  • Incorporate Test Driven Development (TDD) into your daily workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications
These are the core capabilities and experiences we're looking for—skills that typically take time to develop and are essential for success in this role:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical consulting roles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, especially when working with distributed and diverse teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for learning, innovation, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS Cloud-Native and Microservices multi-tenant architectures.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript environments.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and PostgreSQL.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
