- Administrative support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, perform data entry, file documents, and manage office supplies.
- Visitor services: Maintain visitor logs, prepare security passes, and provide basic information to clients and vendors.
- Office maintenance: Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and presentable.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills are crucial, as is the ability to multitask effectively.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and on-the-job training is common.
- Experience: While on-the-job training is standard, prior experience in a customer service or administrative role can be beneficial.
