Role Description :

A Site Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing construction projects at the site. The role involves ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. The engineer coordinates between contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth progress and timely completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution
    : Supervise and manage daily site activities as per project plans and specifications.
  • Quality Control
    : Ensure all work is carried out with the required quality standards and in compliance with codes.
  • Measurement & Documentation
    : Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records, and verify contractors' work measurements.
  • Coordination
    : Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical/site issues.
  • Material Management
    : Ensure timely availability of construction materials and verify quality upon delivery.
  • Safety Compliance
    : Implement and monitor safety protocols on-site for workers and equipment.
  • Problem Solving
    : Identify potential issues or delays and take corrective measures promptly.
  • Billing Support
    : Assist in preparing and checking contractors' bills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of site experience in construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
