Position Summary

Architectural Engineers are responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and executing civil and construction engineering projects, ensuring that projects meet company standards and regulatory requirements for quality, cost, schedule, and safety. This position plays a key role throughout the construction project lifecycle, requiring close collaboration with project managers, designers, construction teams, and government regulators.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in feasibility studies, design alternative evaluations, and budget preparation for construction projects.

Prepare and review construction drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and construction plans.

Oversee on-site construction progress, ensuring that quality, safety, and schedule control meet project plans.

Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinating resources and construction sequencing.

Provide technical guidance for the construction process, ensuring that construction methods and materials meet regulatory requirements.

Prepare project reports, construction records, and technical documentation, reporting regularly to the project manager or superintendent.

Assist with cost control and risk assessment to optimize construction plans.

Ensure compliance with national and local building codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations.

Promote the use of new materials, technologies, and green building methods.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field.

3–8 years of experience in construction, structural design, or project management, with experience on large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects preferred.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SAP2000, or other structural design software.

Familiarity with engineering specifications, construction standards, and safety management systems.

Excellent project coordination and teamwork.

Excellent communication skills, capable of efficiently facilitating tasks in a collaborative environment.

Registered Civil Engineer (PE/CE) certification preferred.

Proficiency in English or the local working language is required.
