We're hiring a Product Manager - Pharma for our client.

Job title: Product Manager - Pharma

Industry: Pharmaceutical / Healthcare

Location: Hyderabad

Education Requirement: B.Pharmacy or B.Sc with MBA (Marketing).

Experience: 7+years in pharma product management.

Note: Prior experience in pharma sales would be a strong advantage.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Product Manager to take ownership of specific brands within our client's portfolio. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of assigned brands, from developing marketing plans and strategies to driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team to ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual brand plans and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Design and create marketing inputs and promotional materials (e.g., visual aids, leave-behind literature, brochures).
  • Conduct regular training for the field force on brand strategy and scientific communication.
  • Perform market research and competitor analysis to identify strategic advantages.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively for promotional activities.
  • Develop and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics and sales data to refine strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Science (B.Sc), complemented by an MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of dedicated experience in a pharma product management team (PMT).
  • Sales Acumen: Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable.
  • Therapeutic Area Knowledge: Exposure to CNS, Ortho, Derma, or Nutraceuticals would be preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and brand-building skills. Proficient in creating marketing collateral.
